Healthy Habits and Lifestyle of a Successful Athlete.
Hi, buddies! Тoday I have decided to write about my thoughts and ideas concerning the healthy habits and lifestyle that a successful Athlete should follow on a daily basis. Why did a thought like that cross my mind? In one of my blog posts I once wrote that being strongly engaged in amateur sports (with a thirst for victory), a person should believe themselves to be a true Athlete.
And then I just got lost in thought: what does it actually mean "to see oneself as a true Athlete?" Here we may deal with the problem of understanding one's athletic identity.
I have been doing sports since I was 4 years old and now I do many things automatically.
That's why this question arose, and surely I have got the answer here. These are, in particular, 5 rituals, or I would say 5 rules that a professional Athlete is supposed to follow every day, and this is what can really distinguish you from an ordinary person.
A true Athlete does know that tomorrow will be definitely harder than today, so sleep cannot be underestimated.
The first rule is Discipline and daily routine planning.
The true Athlete knows for sure the time for training, is never late, because a stern coach can chide)))) The true Athlete eats on a schedule, knows when they have free time, and does appreciate it. They do know when they should have "the lights out" and go to bed.
Each and every Athlete including myself should respect their body a great deal, and as for sleep, it is the time when one can recover and, consequently, maintain their health for future victories.
We do know that tomorrow will be harder than today, so one shouldn't underestimate sleep.
It is up to you to decide on the sleep duration. As for me personally, I have set the standard for 7 - 8 hours. My usual schedule is 7 hours and if I feel that I am a little tired and my "battery" is low))))), I take an extra hour, but I know for sure when I will go to sleep, and I know for sure when I will get up. What is more, I never reset the alarm-clock.

The second rule is Nutrition.
An Athlete cannot just skip a meal and say: "I forgot about my food intake, you know, just didn't have enough time, you know."
Nutrition and Diet are very important for the Athlete. We treat our body as a tool for obtaining medals or, as in my case, an instrument that does wonders and makes the audience happy. I cannot carelessly treat my nutrition aspects and eat whatever I like indiscriminately. Quality issue is paramount here.
All the products I eat should be as natural as possible (products that the man has not put his hand to)))), as far as conditions allow. Power frequency is very important as well.
An Athlete cannot just skip a meal and say: "I forgot about my food intake, you know, just didn't have enough time, you know". We are aware of the fact that a human body is actually a kind of a sports car that requires high-quality fuel and building materials for restoration, so the attitude towards nutrition should be very serious.
The third rule is Training. Always, everywhere, in any condition.
One of my friends once joked: "I do recognize an athlete right away since in crowded places they crunch their backbones and do warming-up physical activities".
I have been training since I turned 4 and I must admit that training for me is a crucial thing. This may be just a warm-up in the gym or exercise, but, in any case, some physical activity is mandatory for me every day. One of my friends once joked: "I do recognize an athlete right away since in crowded places they crunch their backbones and do warming-up physical activities".
Yes, indeed, we are constantly massaging something, training, stretching. It does not matter in what form, but training in our lives is always relevant. Of course, I understand people who are not involved in sports very well, it's hard for them to get crazy and start training every day. They might have some other skills that I used to lack (for example, reading skills). But any skill can be developed and put into practice.
And what's the way it actually can be done? Do at least a minimum, but regularly, and in just a month you will feel that you have got involved. Training for an Athlete is kind of a Ritual, this is something he cannot live without, this is their DNA. .
The fourth rule is Idealism. Any movement is Art.
Over the years, one's coach talks about quality, helps to master the technique and hone it to (minimum) ideal level. It all overlaps with usual life.
Every athlete literally tries to do everything in life as efficiently as possible (that is, without spending a lot of energy). Moreover, they try their best to do it productively so that it is cool and gives the result.
Here is a good example for you to consider: my father once asked me to cut some wood, I took a few blows and rushed ... I began to think which muscles were functioning at that moment, how I could carry the ax more efficiently, what path to strike, so as not to spend a lot of effort, to chop a piece of wood. Every movement is under strict control. I do not know whether this is good or bad, but I know for sure that this is the quality of most professional Athletes. .
The fifth rule is Love. Real, gratuitous, forever.
Love what you do. Every athlete loves their sport, gets deeply involved in it since childhood. In adulthood, a million flashbacks very often pop up from the hall where they began their journey.
You smell, remember the color of the walls, the equipment, those funny and difficult moments. These memories cling to no less than the first kiss, the ballad, dawn. The athlete loves their sport and does not jump over to another kind of sport when it is hard, remaining faithful to it to the very end.
So, I have mentioned those 5 rules that distinguish an ordinary person from a professional athlete.
Use these 5 rules in your life and get all the benefits of Successful athletes.
